River Rock Water Gardens

River Rock Water Gardens was created to spread the love for all things water. We chose River Rock because those colorful and smooth stones are part of many of the water features you see today. Bringing River Rocks in helps us bring nature to you whether you live on a sixteenth of an acre or 30 acres!

​As Certified Aquascape Contractors, our ecosystem ponds replicate nature. Ecosystems are centered around water. Our features can create ecosystems full of plants and animals for you and your family and friends to enjoy. We love bringing this amazing learning experience to you. Water is also a natural stress reducer and studies have shown that water can have positive health benefits.​

Although River Rock Water Gardens was founded in 2017 by Cody and Lauren Gilstrap, Cody has many years of experience with water gardens and ponds through our sister landscaping company Northeast Landscaping LLC. Native to rocky Northeastern Oklahoma, Cody grew up loving the creeks and large boulders that fell across the landscape. Through family business Cody worked with the rocks to create movement patterns in the water that mimics the natural landscape. Lauren has always had a passion for plants and gardens and slowly fell in love with the water gardens after helping Cody on projects.

The two decided to branch out to Northwest Arkansas and base their new dream company from there. Cody and Lauren met at the University of Arkansas so the area has lots of memories for them. River Rock Water Gardens hopes to be the go-to business for all of Fayetteville, Springdale, Bentonville, and Rogers in need of water gardens, koi ponds, pondless features, and more!
